LHR Lounge Access Via Virgin Holidays

I know that sometimes if you are booked to fly Virgin Atlantic as part of a Virgin Holiday booking out of LHR you have the option of paying £60.00 (I think) for Virgin lounge access.

I assume that if the price is £60.00 we are talking about the Virgin Club House and not some other Virgin Holiday lounge.

I also assume that access is only allowed 3 hours brfore departure time ..as is the case with the cheaper Service Air lounge.

You used to book via the VH website, but there doesn't appear to be an option to do this anymore.

I thought that this facility was withdrawn after the V-Room opened at Gatwick, but have never used VH, and could be wrong.

I haven't heard any reports of this being done lately, so - unless anyone has a better suggestion - I would be tempted to ask VH or your travel agent. ?|

We were offered the chance to book & have rang V Hols & done so.

I just had a bit of a panic that we may have paid £60.00 each for a lounge other than the Clubhouse ....however on closer inspection of the link in the mail from V Hols the pics are of the Clubhouse.

I think I could see off £60's worth of booze alone in a couple of hours in there.. I think the latest tally in the annual pre-VS19 'How much can you drink' competition between my housemate and I is 3 Mojitos and 5 champagnes each between 7am and boarding... Not that I would ever encourage such yobbish behavior..

indeed not ! especially as you could end up with a very big bill if you misbehave and they divert to off-load you !
