My work colleague and his new wife are booked on a Virgin Holidays package to St Lucia on 16th November for their honeymoon. The recorded message he keeps getting says people going in the next few days on the 12th and 14th November should plan to travel, but may rebook another holiday subject to a recost. Does this mean that the people going on 12th and 14th can just swap their holiday for another, subject to availability, and pay the difference in price if the new holiday is more expensive? ?|
This recorded message does not cover his flight on the 15th but he is rather worried to say the least with it being his honeymoon. Does it follow that Virgin will make their minds up by the end of this week as regards the 15th November flight? :)

It seams VS are doing it a couple of days at a time so I would assume that VH are doing the same - and making decsions depending on the state of the roads and the water supply.

The VS update on Monday was for flights up until the 12th but today's update it applied to flights until the 14th.

I think its case of wait and see - not ideal I know but I sugegst your colleague checks regularly for the updates and gets on the phone as soon as it is released and hopefully with an idea as to where else he and his beloved want to go as an alternative.
