Hello everyone
I have a dilemma! I am off to Orlando 4 weeks today; received etickets today etc. I was happily checking that all was in order when my husband decided to remove the 6 or so security stickers from the reverse of MY passport. To cut a long story short he decided to remove the last traces of sticky with a cloth and spray cleaner v( !
On presenting the newly cleaned passport back to the rightful owner I was horrified to see that a faint watermark had seeped onto the photo/machine readable page :0 !
Shouted at him - a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rang Passpor Service who say I will need a new passport n( so have appointment at the end of the week at local passport office for Fast Track service....
Being organised I completed ESTA in September (pre charge)- of course I will have to reapply now with a new passport (old one still ran until 2017).
Question - Will I encounter any problems with ESTA approval if I reapply so soon?
Please will one of you lovely people put my mind at rest....
In anticipation
Jane
