Duty free

Hi,

We are going to HNL via LAX. I know we can order duty free booze on outgoing for return, but how do we get duty free into HNL as we have to go through passport control, then the internal flight.

Any help please?

When you connect you'll have to go through immigration, then collect your bags and pass through customs. Outside customs you usually find connection desks to drop your bags, so you could repack them and stash your DFs before dropping your bags off for the second time.
