No you are not weak willed, as Mrs B put it to me when she took a similar decision, you have exercised your feminine intuition to ensure the best possible flight experience for us both.

(she went on to say I would be paying, but that is not important right now :D )

Have a great time in the Clubhouse and ensuing flight

You are funny dear Lady Dragon ... as soon as I read your comments in yesterday's posts about your trip to LAS in Y, I had an inkling that things might change ...

Have a great flight :D .

I too found it hard to believe that you would board with anything less than purple. Enjoy the trip and the mojitos

You did well to last this long before the purple panic set in!

Have a great trip, looking forward to the TR. ^)

Enjoy your flight DL, life is too short to not enjoy it when opportunity presents itself, I say :)

Okay, now I hope that is not permanent? Seriously? Do they not know that the mojito is a staple? Bad form VS...

It would appear that it is. The service in the CH was pretty poor all told yesterday (they wouldn't give me any water to take with me either :(! ).
The service on-board made up for the failings of the CH though and was fantastic ^) .

Wouldn't give you a bottle of water? :(! :(! :(! .
That is truly appalling IMHO.
Is that a malaise connected with the Gatwick CH or will that sort of penny-pinching mean-mindedness now extend to the LHR CH?
I sincerely hope not..... :(!

In Gatwick last month, the CH only had 1.5L bottles and although I managed to get one, it was pretty clear that it was an exception rather than the rule. I put it down to my charm and rugged good looks...:w

Earlier this month the service was crap too, no water to take, no mojito and couldnt even make a cocktail unless it was on the menu and when my mum ordered a bloody mary it looked like HP brown sauce and tasted like it!
I wont ever revisit the LGW ch again, and i flew twice out of their in 6 weeks and both times were rubbish.

cheers
