Hi

Considering booking return UC flights from Manchester and had a couple of questions regarding the UC experience at BGI airport;

1) Upon arrival at BGI from UC is there a "fast track" or "priority" immigration channel for UC passengers? I know immigration at some caribbean airports leaves a lot to be desired! I know there are companies in Barbados offering "fast track" immigration through the diplomatic channels for circa $50-70 per passenger, but if you get a similar experience anyway by simply being UC, then they are not worth purchasing.

2) On exiting BGI, is there a "fast track" security channel for UC passengers? I believe the Manchester flight is one of the last of the day anyway so can anyone comment on the security queues anyway for the Manchester flight?

Thanks

Andy

From my experiences, the answer is no to both questions, however both the immigration and security checks are pretty quick and stress free at BGI in comparison to other airports in the region, and as you said the MAN flight departs and arrives when the airport is quiet, as all the american traffic has come and gone. You should fly through. Also as you will be in UC, providing you aren't beaten in by another airline, you will be first to the immigration line.

I should add that they are very good with the priority boarding there, never had a problem.

Welcome to V-flyer.

From my experiences too - the answer is no. But the airport will be quiet and you won't have any problems as you will be the first off on arrival, which works very well at BGI.

Leaving BGI, you simply won't need it.

Have a great trip.
