Advert in the Standard tonight trying to link VS and the Oscar winning films.

VS only involvement is that the are showing them at them moment !

All you have to do is make your choice, sit back and enjoy the film.

(assuming of course you have working IFE!)

They are making a real big thing of it on the Facebook pages,as well.

They just happen to mention (again) their Zagat award winning IFE - not mentioning the LGW / MAN fleet's shortcomings though. :w

Shame the Zagat link gets a 'not found'. You'd think with VS top notch web pages that sort of thing wouldn't happen ( but is more like the general scheme of things).

Not sure why they going overboard on the Oscars. Not like the financed any of the films or featured in any of them ...

Yeah the certianly seem to be trying to jump on the bandwagon of the oscars don't they, though don't think that just advertising that they are showing the oscar winning films will make ppl book more lol. Though I could be wrong hey.

Looks like the link has been fixed now.

Expect that Zagat only surveyed the LHR fleet with VPORT, pretty sure no awards would have been given for LGW fleet! LOL

Are the films Virgin show any better/much different than on other airlines?

I am sure a lot of the films on currently, were on in November, what happened to a high turn over of films? Most used to change every month, the odd few carrying over, but doesn't seem like this currently

Well that's just my view/memory, don't pay too much attention to all the films, as I will watch one or two and then listen to music or read.
