Hi There,

First post, just found this great site :)

I have a quick question that i hope you folks can help with.

This is going to sound a bit mad as we are not flying until Sept 2012, but we have booked our honeymoon to Florida with virgin holidays. Flying from LGW to MCO and back in upper class.

I have been told on another forum that it is possible that virgin run an Airbus A330 on this route which has no upper class seating. I am not a good flyer so try to avoid Economy/PE when money allows and with it being our honeymoon we really want Upper class.

Is it a possiblity that on the day the plane could be an A330 and we get bumped down to PE? Or as it has let me booked Upper class does that mean it will be a 747 or A340? The flight out is VS15 1pm on a Wednesday.

Thanks all :)

There are no plans to add UC to the first two A330's (KSS and SXY), they will stay in the W/Y config, but any new ones should have UC on them.

To the OP - only one of the flights ex LGW is going to operate on the A330, the other will still be a 747 with UC - so that is what you will be booked on.

Thanks guys, im a serial worrier when it comes to flying, i always expect the worst, and with it being our honeymoon its magnified 10 fold :)

Now i can happily daydream about UC :) .. have flown BA CW a good few times but UC looks more special to me.

Travel agents will often sell holidays in advance of the 330 normal airline dates. They will guarentee a flight to your destination but not necessarily a specific time until the schedules are released.

They take on the risk that the airline won't stop flying to a route.
