If anyone has been there I'm sure you'll agree with me it's amazing place to watch landings, if anyone is heading out here to LA soon make sure you set aside a couple of hrs to grab a bite to eat and watch the planes landing right overhead! I'll upload some pics when I fly home.
We landed yesterday on VS007 then headed up around 6pm to watch VS 23 land, sure enough right on time G VWEB Surfer Girl landed then today on way back to hotel we stopped off for a milkshake, and right on time G VSHY Madame Butterfly landed

PS not plane related but walking down Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills today and none other than Bill Clinton is coming the other way!

Question. Is it possible to get to the In-N-Out on foot? If that is possible, I may just drag my unsuspecting friends up there when I am on the return from my trip in June.

Sure you can, not the nicest area, but doable. Out the airport then left on Sepulveda. Allow half an our each way, say, plus an hour minimum at In-n-Out (lines and wait for the food can be substantial). Three hours would be better.

To get to the nearest In'n Out burger at LAX you just get the Polka Dot shuttle bus (free) which takes you to the 'Parking Spot' (Spot = Polka Dot, geddit?) which is a garage with a door marked leading directly to In 'n Out burger. 100ft, if that. The bus doesn't go anywhere else.

Just give the driver a few $ tip, enjoy your meal, come back and get the same shuttle service back to your terminal. about 10 mins each way. Done it myself, as have many others. They are very happy if you tip them.

Food is cheap + delicious. I had a 5 hour layover on way to Auckland, NZ, and it was great to take a little break,
