search by fare class

Hi - is there a way to search by specific fare classes on the VA website, if there is I'm damned if I can find it!

If you log in to FC and in Spend Miles/Upgrade Companion flights

Hello,
If you go to the Flying Club page and login, and then do a search for "flights on specific dates" this will let you search for some (but not all) of the fare classes. Don't choose any of the other options though.

I don't know how you search for them all but hope this helps.

Think you will find what you need under 'flying club' then 'spend miles' then 'upgrade/companion flights' and you can then choose various fare codes (but not the cheapest ones so no 'Z' in UC)

thanks - but I should have been more specific, L class fares are what I was looking for, if I'm correct this is the lowest fare you can buy and then use miles to upgrade to UC? avail permitting of course!

yes you can - select 'L' after selecting 'economy lowest' after following the above

Use this page to book and select 'L' from the 'Class' drop-down list (you might need to log into your FC account first though)

There will also need to be reward seat availability as well but it is easy to check by doing a dummy 'miles' booking.
