You will be on one of the new A330's.

As for getting sat together, try OLCI as soon as possible, but then still ask at the airport if you aren't happy with what you've got. Our recent experience found the staff to be very helpful in trying to get seats together for families etc.

You can only do OLCI 24 hours before your flight.

I assume you are trying to log in to the manage my booking section of the VS site? To be honest, so close to your flight now there probably won't be any (or any good) seats left to choose from as they only allow 60% of seats to be pre-allocated.

If you try OLCI at exactly T-24, you *should* get the option from the remaining 40%. The system might just automatically choose seats for you anyway.

There isn't a new config due out now - have a look at the seat maps in the toolbox section of this site, and select the A330 - that will show you the seat map of the a/c you will be due to fly on.

Thankyou, I have found the seat map. I was originally told that I would be able to pre book my seats free of charge 11 months in advance, i did use the manage my bookings and my flight came up but always said 'Where's my seat? Currently unavailable'

That message appears when the 60% allocation has been reached, so that is why you will now be able to select any.

It was also only November time when Virgin did release the seat map for the new A330 a/c, so that might be why you initially had the message if you tried before then.

I am sure you will get sorted, and remember, it is only 9 hours so try not to let it spoil your holiday.
