Hello!

I recently had to change my plans on a reward ticket I had purchased about 11 months ago due to a death (not a relative). When I first called flying club to change it I was told I had to travel within 12 months of the date of ticket issue. That wasn't really working for me as having booked the ticket so long ago it didn't give me enough chance to change to something I could go on. I called back later and spoke to someone different who changed the date to August and the re-issued e-ticket was duly emailed with no mention of the previously mentioned rule.

I am now a little concerned that if Tickets are only valid for a year from date of issue when I go to check in for my flight in August 2011 on a ticket which was originally issued in May 2010 am I going to have a lot of problems?!

Would appreciate any advice people could give!
