flying back to MCO tomorrow.have currently got the front exit row seat 25c so have plenty of leg room and will be first off. upgrades on offer today at Twilight check in at £249, the agent reckoned they could drop to £159 tomorrow,BUT is it worth it?
wont get any better leg room in fact it will be less
will be off a little bit slower
food -I can live with
drink -well I am still not drinking so that wont matter
so the only downside is a narrower seat BUT I have been told EC is less than half full so maybe chance to stretch out

cant see any benefit in upgrading??

On balance I'd stay with the exit row and save the £150-200 for something nice. I'm on VS07 on Tuesday in an economy exit row and I prefer the extra legroom to the standard PE seats. If only I could find a foolproof way of getting 18A/C on a 346 then I'd go for it.

I wold pay and get the better seat. It is wider and more comfortable (padding etc). The food is much better and served on proper china plus you get at least one extra TP for it.

However if none of the above are important to you then there is no point even considering PE.

Seat width is a factor for me; perhaps more so if you are travelling alone. I suppose if you are 6 foot plus the legroom becomes more significant. Tricky one - will you get the extra miles and TP for that type of upgrade? Its almost better when they quote £1000+ so you can just say no!
