Reward flights/miles advice

Hello all

couple of quick queries. Took all your advice and managed to upgrade my S flights to G to Nairobi for honeymoon.

1. Seats- have 4 and 5 K in the A343 on the way there and 9A/10A in the 346 on the way back. Sound good? I think sitting opposite each other might prove tricky.

2. Miles- will I still get the miles for the S part of my fare? Or is that lost now I have gone from PE to UC with miles? My FF numbers have disappeared from my booking. Seems a bit of a shame....

Ignoring DL's remarks (although fully understanding them since I arrived at 9am for a 4pm flight ) no, nothing will be closed. they don't close until the last flight has left. With regard to spa bookings, the minute you arrive in the Clubhouse go to the spa area and book one

Sorry to be very practical but IMHO as nice as the CH is anything more than a 3-4 hour trip there will soon become boring and you will stop enjoying it.

That said as soon as you have gone through the private security channel go sraight to the the CH. Do not stop at duty free (you can always leave the CH later) but go straight to the CH and then to the spa. Don't find seats and order drinks / food and then think about going to the spa. Just go there first. It won't ensure you and the soon to me Mrs get a treatment but it will increase your chances.

Although you are due the miles and tier points for the S portion, I'd give VA call to add them manually after the flight as they often don't post automatically in my experience.
