Just a simple question... Is the price of an upgrade static?

Well, at least, 100,000 is the price for a full buy of a UC flight from LHR to LA. Is this likely to still be true (or at least not more) in, say, 6 months time?

We've got an UC to Montego Bay booked, if we buy miles then fly and come back, we can have 100,000 miles each. I don't want to find at that point the normal cost is higher, and they've been "sale priced" at 100,000...

Thanks :)

The 100k price is the price and has been for some time. There have been occassional reward 'sales' but these are in Y and PE not UC.

As to whether this will be the case in 6 months time no one can say for certain. VS have been tinkering with various aspects of FC lately.

Don't forget you will still have to pay fuel surcharge/ APD / airport fees - approx £ 450 per person.

Agree with what Tonty says, but would add that several other airlines have increased the number of points required for redemption.

I have NO information that VS are going to change mileage levels, but - other than the possibility of a sale which, as Tonty mentioned, is unlikely for UC - I would say that they only way they will go is up.
