Bit cryptic but hey!
I have purchased an L class fare on LGW to MCO for late April early may and have successfully managed to use 20,000 miles to upgrade to Premium both ways. I had the other 40,000 miles to upgrade to upper but there are no Upper class rewards seats left/released yet on my utterly non-flexible flight dates. (family flying that date on airmiles via BA. I am alone on virgin without my bored kids ): using virgin miles)
If at some point in the future G seats are released can I upgrade to Upper from Premium by paying the extra 20,000 per leg as they are released? Or must I upgrade both legs at once? Or am I stuck in premium?
