See this thread, for a list of the extra leg room seats throughout the VS fleet.

If you booked direct with VS you can try to book and pay for these seats in advance- if you didn't, you can try and do it at the airport.

I stand to be corrected, but the diagrams on the VS website are not exactly to scale. I have yet to fly on the A330, so don't know if the row you have booked has slightly more leg room than other rows, but would tend to doubt it if VS don't charge extra for it. 8D

Row 46 on the A330 has the standard amount of legroom.

Row 49 is classed as an exit row hence why you haven't been able to select it online.

If there are four of you, are there "two lots of twos" available as you would then get to be by the window too.

We have recently returned from MCO on the A330 and the rows 46 to 48 are right outside the toilets, so if you do not wish to be constantly disturbed on the return flight change seats asap.

Does no one go to the loo on the outbound? :o) :o) :o)

I wouldn't use any VS seat map to detemine the amount of leg room though as the maps are not to scale and only provide an indication of seat layouts.

But row 49 is classed as 'extra leg room seat' so there will be a charge of 50GBP per seat so only avaliable at the airport (or via contact centre).

You can guarantee extra leg room seats by calling the contact centre, where you can pre book the limited number of extra legroom seats by the window which have 34 inches of leg room.

Think there is 24 avaliable on the 330, and these cost 30GBP per person per sector and can be pre booked.

Lurking for many years now, Hey All

We are booked into 33 H-K and 34 H-K in October on the A330, on pics there appears to be a missing window around this area. Anyone recall spotting this? I have spoken to Virgin and they cant help.

Unfortunately for you, only a small handful of people here have travelled on the A330 so far hence the lack of replies. I did try searching Flickr in case there were any detailed photos of the cabin but there were not any.

Tinkerbelle, yeah tell me about it. Declan, I did change to 36/37 HK but tried to change to 35/36 but it will not let me. I like being central but with a view at the front of the wing so this should be ok. The kids look at me as if I have ruined their holiday if the view goes wrong, not that spending £5k + has anything to do with it. Thanks for your help
