How does the LGW CH compare to the LHR one?

As above, how does the LGW CH compare to its LHR sibling (apart from obviously being smaller)?

So, no opinions on how they compare.... Looking on the bright side, that must mean the LGW CH is the same and just as good as LHR. Hurrah!

Subjective I know but I prefer LHR.

Yes it's bigger but the overall facilities are better.

I prefer the LGW one. But that's just because when I'm in there, I know I'm going on holiday, whereas the LHR one is usually for work trips!

Honestly... I like them both. True the LHR one is bigger and has more facilities overall, but I've never had poor service from either one, and they have been good to my children as well!

If I can afford to buy a ticket or a reward flight that gets me into either I don't care!!

I used to really like the pre- refurb LGW CH. It was small, cosy, with fantastic attentive service , but granted, it didn't have the wow /bling factor of the LHR CH.
My last visit there in October was pretty poor, but for that matter, the 3 visits I've had since then to the LHR CH haven't been brilliant either.
Slow service seems to be a common problem in both these days , however the concierge at LHR is still top notch and ever helpful .
