Having booked my first tickets in Economy for a while (taking my 11 year old daughter's friend with us on holiday in December) I have been tempted by an upgrade to PE on the return from Antigua to Gatwick for £485 for all three of us (return sector only). That seemed quite good to me - or am I only getting used to the number of digits in an UC fare!? I suspect they'll enjoy being in the bubble - it's the only part of the plane that my daughter hasn't yet been in.

Thanks. Have now done so - though phone communications with Virgin have been dodgy today - but in the end the nice lady I had been having the email conversation with made the change to the booking, so I got the seats before the price went up again!
What is going on with the phones?

Sounds excellent to me and normally I would grab a bargain like that.

I was chatting with my hairdresser at the weekend and her husband and daughter upgraded at check in to PE a week ago and it only cost them £30 each, now that's what I call a bargain y)

if it was PE thats a bargain beyond belief

Yep definitely PE, on the new plane VS075, very quiet when they went. They had booked EC but had their seats changed from what they had requested online so asked if they could be moved.

Result, the answer was yes we have availability in PE for £30 each.....fabulous or what!! :P
