It's great! Free booze. Very classy. Free snacks and food (limit one free food item then GBP4.00/each).

Great if you have Priority Pass - Good value for a lounge. I personal would not pay to use a lounge as you normally can buy a meal and drinks for the lounge entry fee. If I were to pay for a lounge, any of the No 1 lounges are worth it. Nearly Clubhouse-esk (especially the No 1 Gatwick North).

Hi Stu,

Afraid I can't help with the Clubhouse invites but can confirm that the No 1 Lounge is excellent.

We have used it several times with no problems. Good food, most drinks free, very comfortable, quiet and relaxing away from the bustle of the main airside area (but you can still come and go from/to the main terminal as you wish). There's also a fine view of the runway; and the three-hour maximum stay has not been enforced on the couple of occasions when we have experienced delays.

Don't book direct, though, as you will find that the AA, Groupon and a number of the 'travel extras' sites offer discounts of anything up to 40%.

Kind regards,

John

I have always found the No.1 Lounges to be an excellent way to start a holiday. A relaxing environment with good choice of food and drink.

I'm looking forward to trying the No.1 Lounge at T3 soon.

Have a great trip!

Like CAL346, I've been to No 1 at Gatwick, and both No 1's at Stanstead. I think that outside the Clubhouse, and some airlines 'First Class only' lounges, No 1 are the best

And I'm also looking forward to seeing the No 1 at LHRT3
