Hey guys

just wondering if someone can offer any advice.

We are travelling from LGW-MCO just before Christmas and just need to know what the best course of action is to get some decent seats before they are all taken.

We couldn't select our seats online (no doubt the 60% was already allocated). We are travelling down to LGW the day before our flight.

I like the relaxed thought of the twilight check in but that may be a little late if people have had all day to check in online, so should I stay at home, check in online, then go to LGW and drop off my bags (twilight check in) or should I go to LGW (probably get there a couple of hours after the 24 hour window opens) and check in there (could I still drop off my bags later or would I have to do it at the time), or should I just not panic, make my way to LGW leisurely and sometime in the evening waltz over and check in and drop off my bags?

Sorry for the long winded message for what is probably a simple question!

I would suggest doing OLCI as close go the T-24 mark as you can, then it is your choice if you still go to LGW that day or wait until your flight date.

It is also worth checking the manage my booking section on the VS site a few hours before OLCI opens. It seems sometimes that seats are made available during this period, so you might be able to grab some then.
