Virgin Atlantic VISA card?

My sister (who has a Virgin Atlantic Amex) has said she got a letter yesterday saying they are issuing a Visa card to be a companion to the Amex card.

The earning rate would be 1 mile for every £2 spent.

Am I late to the party on this or is this utterly amazing news? Or has my sister got it wrong?
