refund / reschedule ??

Due to fly JFK-LHR on 010 this evening . the weather is now forecast to turn real bad in NYC.

i am on an S going out and M back next Friday.

if i don't fly up to JFK I know i will lose my Jet blue money but what's the score on refunds rebooking on an S/M ??

Your only option is to pay the change fee and move to another date. You will of course have to pay any difference in the new fare.

As the most restrictive fare applies on mixed fare tickets, you will be bound by the M fare rules, and have to pay the change fee based on those, which I believe is £110, although ISTBC on that.

If you cancel you would be able to claim back any taxes only.

well the decision ahs been made, the JB flight has been delayed so much I wouldnt make the connection so its cancelled.

JB were veyr good and have given a full refund.

spoke to VS early and I can change -but I am going to wait it out and see if the flight gets affected by the weather and i get a free change.

The weather here in NYC has been awful today - very cold and wet but mainly sleet rather than snow and its not been settling in the city.

Should be cold but sunny tomorrow!

Something has happned to the VS3 though - diverted to Bangor and (according to vS flight status) 'terminated' so they might be glad of your seat on the 10 to get someone back to blighty!

well its all sorted. rebooked for end Nov. ended up costing just over £200. have to say the girl in the call centre was brilliant -even at 1.30 in the morning !!!

she said its been chaos with the weather and delays etc.

pleased to say VS and service at its very best
