Good evening from the... er... Gatwick Hilton

Ok, it's certainly not a departure lounge, and it's pretty busy here as you might expect from the first weekend of the school hols. Nonethless it is my little oasis of calm right now before my family get here, complete with all the stresses of having driven/crawled around the M25 to meet me.

As for me, just sipping a pint of black gold and dreaming of the pistes tomorrow... Now, if someone would be good enough to organise a bit of snow??

Where are you skiing?
The snow in the alps is great. Maybe even too much!

Mayrhofen... And I have to agree, got there yesterday, probably about 1-2 feet of snow fell before nightfall, and today was a beautiful day. I'm now just relaxing with my cherubs, who are thrilled to have been on red runs today.

Don't know what I was worrying about...
