ok,just checked my daughter in on VS28 tomorrow (and got her SEQ1) but there 'are no seats to change' and she is stuck downstairs in 82H.

if she got seq 1 then where are the 40% unallocated seats ?? If people have done DDCI why did she get seq 1 ??
there are also 2 seats available to purchase...I just cant believe everyone has checked in so early........

so now we have to get her to MCO early just to try and change to upstairs

at this busy time of year they probably have lots of seating to rearrange to try and get families sitting together, so the seat map did not open up at OLCI

This is 100% correct. When flightsarebbusy and lots if pax haven't been able to pre-select any seats, they block the seat map at OLCI so they can get as many families/groups sat together as possible.

Penny,Neil I pretty much guessed that was the case. its still bloody annoying though as this is her first PE trip and she loved being upstairs on the way out. it now means we have to leave earlier for the airport just to get her a seat in the bubble. very frustrating.

You would probably stand a better chance at Downtown Disney check in. When we were there in October I heard the check in agent next to our own shout down the line that she had just allocated the last two seats in the bubble - and that was at 08:45 hrs :0

well the ggod news, we arrived around 3.45. a very friendly ground staffer directed us to the new UC desk and upon request a very helful agent got my daughter the last seat upstairs 75C , so she even got an exit seat.

apparently flight was bumpy and the air con was broken, but she said it was a short flight and is now home
