Lgw 747 UC seats

Your thoughts please on seats 6a&k, are they cramped or a little claustrophobic? Travelling with my partner.

I looked at the seat reviews but any further info would be greatly appreciated, many thanks Trev

Highly recommended! Great if you're a couple as it makes it much easier to talk.

You also benefit from a small shelf in front of the seats which is great during the flight.

IMHO best seats in UC on the LGW 744.

There is no over head storage though so don't try opening what looks like the bin !

Great seats - we always select them if available. They are often the first to go.

Two possible disadvantages: you are last out of UC and there is no hand luggage locker above; you have to use space further back.
There is no shortage of space but sometimes people in 7AK can think you are taking "theirs". It can be easier to board before them if possible. You can always use the locker at the back of the cabin but that can be difficult to get to when you arrive at the gate and everyone stands up.

Never get claustrophobic in LGW UC!

Thanks everybody, seats 6 a & k reserved,I do remember reading about the lack of overhead lockers ,and I have made a mental note not to try and prise open the roof!

I think someone even posted a video of people doing the 'trying to open the non existant overhead locker' dance (but that was some time ago)
