Hi,

As United now owns Continental can we claim Virgin Atlantic Miles on United Flights? On the Virgin website it only shows Continental as a partner! If yes, then surely Virgin should update the info?

I have just read on the Continental site that from 13th Feb 2012, Continental is stopping its One Pass partnership with Virgin, Is this due to Continental One Pass becoming United Mileage Plus?

Will Virgin partner with United Mileage Plus?

Quite!

The only reason that there is a partnership with US is because of the merger with America West

Just to confuse everythign you can still make an award booking usig CO miles on a VS flight (with CO code) late February althogh the agreement was supposedly finished mid Feb.

The interesting thing for me is that UA/CO will not have any JFK/LHR flights now which I would have thought a major route to offer.

I no longer think VS should join *A. It is too bloated, VS dosn't need it and *A don't need VS.
