Flew virgin for the first time last Novemeber, PE to Jo'berg. Now a virgin convert and saving up my miles to hopefully upgrade to upper class on trips to Vancouver and Miami in the next two years. I'm already finding this site really useful for planning and tips so thanks everyone.

My question is.... I am flying in Business Elite with Delta in June (work trip) and have signed up to their SkyMiles points schemes. Flights are LHR to San Antonio via Detroit, including first class on internal US flights, so expect to rack up a decent amount of miles. I'm unlikely to fly Delta again in the foreseeable future, and so was wondering if anyone knew of a roundabout way in which these points could end up as FC miles? I will be staying at the Grand Hyatt (partner of both Delta and Virgin) and so wondered if its possible to convert the Delta Miles to my Hyatt Gold Passport Account, and then subsequently convert these to FC miles? Seems a shame to waste them!

cheers!

Welcome

Hope you have a good flight in BE - I flew BE a couple of years ago and was very impressed. (search for DL148 and DL149 for my trip reports)

Most miles transfers are generally one way so yes you could transfer your DL miles to your Hyatt account but not then move them into Flying Club
