Cancer card isn't working. Seriously, my husband and I booked 25th anniversary trip last yr, 3 wks later I was dx w cancer. Sent virgin all relevant med records, meanwhile surgery/chemo/more surgery and finally feeling well. Tried to rebook but virgin tells me we must complete travel by March 10, 2012. I originally booked trip Mar 10, 2011 for travel on April 10. We need to fly on April 14.
Every res person I speak to tells me something else. They all say to email customer relations, which I've done twice, most recently this am. Can't get a response.
Any advice?
thx

Hi and welcome to V-Flyer. I'm afraid I modified your original title just in case anyone deleted it as spam. I hope you don't mind.

I'm sorry that you have had such a terrible time - a diagnosis of cancer is truly scary but I am so glad that the treatment is working and you are feeling well. However you really don't need this hassle on top of everything else.

The difficulty with customer relations is that they say to expect a response within 28 days which really doesn't help you. My advice is that you call VS once more and asks to speak to a supervisor or failing that, post on the Virgin Atlantic Facebook page during office hours and their rep will ask you to email the details and hopefully work out a response that is acceptable to you.

All the best y)
