VS15 delay 26 March 2012

My two 'children' are on the VS15 today, already there is a dealy showing of 15.40 - estimated. v( We are picking them up from MCO, does anyone know the reason for the delay? ?|

We've been here a week, flew LHR-MIA on the VS5, we arrived really early and were through immigation within 30 minutes.

Looks like it is because English Rose is delayed getting into LGW from LAS - not due to land at LGW until 13.25 and is scheduled on the VS15 run today.

Thank you, my son flew on his own last August on the same flight, same delay, his sister is keeping him in food at the moment to keep him quiet!

But Virginia Plain and Hot Lips are spare at LGW, wonder why they werent used to cover in the case of a delay? Planned maintenance I guess?

Departing at 16.05 now! Not arriving till nearly 8 tonight. That combined with the Virgin VS006 being changed to a 3 hour earlier departure time for our return, has taken nearly two days out of their holiday.

They landed at 7.45 and we picked up at 8.15, not bad going. They were shattered. Lauren's sound was non existant for the whole flight, so she never even got to watch a film. She said that the crew were not interested and didn't try to help.
