Anyone else see his 'performance' on SKY talking about the APD increase (announced last November) that came into force today?
Interesting that he seemed to be saying 'fly via Paris or Amsterdam' for cheaper flights.
Yes the make-up lady might save £90 in APD by flying to OZ from Paris but he didn't factor in the costs of getting to/from Paris or the loss of protection by it not being on one PNR or that doing this may not be conducive if you have children in tow.
