I will be celebrating my wedding anniversary early June and will be taking my wife to Cuba. I want to make the trip special for my wife. So would like to upgrade our ticket to Premium Economy. We have paid 657 for an economy ticket and the upgrade is going to cost 401 a total of £1058 each. From reading the forum I understand the aircrafts are looking a bit tierid so am hoping that the long awaited refit would be completed before commiting to buying the upgrade.
Would it be best to wait and purchase the upgrade at the airport or to be safe purchase now.

Yes you might be lucky and get a refitted aircraft.

re the price if you can rationalise £1058 each then go for it.

It MIGHT be cheaper later on or it might be dearer or there might not be any.

If you upgrade now you can do On Line Check In and perhaps bag a better seat.

Refitted PE will be different from current config - the bubble upstairs will be split econ/pe, with a bigger pe downstairs.

This means it is an unknown quantity. Based on current config I would go for back row (75) in the bubble .
