April 16th

Flew in to LHR on the evening of 16th April on a domestic Flight (BMI) and noticed a Virgin plane parked up outside the Virgin Hanger - looked like a A340.

Anyone any idea:
A. Which A/c
B. What it was doing there
C. Why was it apparently parked up outside the Hanger ?

It is G-VRAY, the new A330 a/c that will be operating the VS3/4 flights from LHR from the 21st April.

There are numerous threads in the forum regarding it, including this main thread.
