Hi,

Im flying Gatwick to Orlando on 5th Nov VS27, I got an odd email today (odd in that it doesn't look like the normal Virgin email and the head office address given is different) :? telling me the flight time had changed from 11:15 to 10:40...
So I try to log onto Virgin Atlantic to manage my booking and it just keep saying they have no record of my booking (they had my booking a couple of weeks ago).

As Im stuck working night shifts over the weekend Ive not been able to ring Virgin to double check.

Just wondered if anyone has heard of the time changing etc
Wee bit worried now

Thanks

Don't panic :)

A flight time change often causes bookings to disappear from the manage my booking section of the website. The booking is still there, it's just that you can no longer see it.

You will have to call VS and just get them to reset your booking for you. You should then be able to see your booking again online.

Seems VS are shifting schedules around a bit for the winter season as today I've noticed that I've been moved from the VS74 to the VS76 coming back from MCO over the New Year.

I'll say - our VS27 last November clocked in at 9hr 46min and the cabin crew said they'd had a few over 10hrs thanks to the winter headwinds, it felt a very long flight compared to the usual 8.5hrs on the 744 in the summer.

Thanks for the info guys, very helpful! :)

PS. Are the 330s the new aircraft without the seperate upper premium economy cabin?

Yes, the LGW-based 330s that operate MCO flights only have Economy and Premium Economy, there is no Upper Class.

Hmm, not sure I like the sound of the new layouts. From reading only a couple of snippets on here about the new 330s I get the impression that the whole experience in 'the bubble' leaves alot to be desired (darn it, just when Id convinced my now fiance, husband in time for the flight, that flying VS premium is the way to go).

Haha, ok then I'm getting quite confused with all this!
Last time I flew with VS it was so much easier, pre book seats 77H&K, knew exactly where Id be sat & what Id be getting. Mind you that was 6 years ago now!
