My daughter (21) is flying back from LAX today on the VS24. She is flying by herself. I want to treat her in some way, is there a lounge I can pay for her to go in at all ??
There is a lounge in TBIT (Tom Bradley International Terminal) called RE:Lax that's open to anyone willing to pay, however, VS don't operate from TBIT and it's not airside (she'll have to go through security). As for T2, I'm not sure, I don't use it all that often, I tend to go through 3, 7 or 8. Sorry I can't be of more help, my friend who works in Ops for LAX is in-flight as I type.
Thanks for the quick reply Simon.
I did try a few google T2 lounge but nothing really was coming up.
Thought you guys might of known if there was a secret one hiding somewhere

VS uses the NZ lounge in T2 for its upper class passengers but I have no idea if it allows 'pay on the door' admission.
I'd look at the LAX website to see if there are any such lounges.

Note that the Relax lounge is landside in TBIT so your daughter could easily use it then walk to T2 where VS flies from for her flight to London.
In years past I have done this and it's fine, I sometimes still do this when flying VX from T3 and the same applies, use the Relax lounge then the 10 minute walk to the right Virgin terminal, through security, and on to the flight. Easy peasy, especially if you have a long connection at LAX.
There's a plane at JFK, to fly you back from far away
