Hi Guys

I'm beginning to get twitchy as my date approaches. I have extra legroom seats on a MCO flight with three passengers. looking at the 747 config 1 and 2 layout I kind of worked out in my mind where I thought the seats would be which was great until I read Tinkerbelle's post.

For config 1 I had my eye on 21abc but Tinkerbelle suggest 22abc which throws my theory out the window. Are the start of rows not considered extra room seats as that would seem the most obvious?

Also the two refurb 747 in use have the controversial shared bubble classes. The start of economy again seemed like an obvious choice to me as a extra seat?

Does olci guide you to appropriate seats or would it be better to call customer services 24hrs out do you think?

Thanks

Welcome.

Row 21 is classed as a bulkhead, not extra legroom seats and while they have more floor space in front of them that a normal economy seat, the bulkhead wall means you can't stretch your feet under them, meaning to some it could be classed as having less space. The bulkheads are normally used to seat families with babies as they are skycoat locations and also pax with an appropriate special assistance note on their booking.

The extra legroom seats are row 22 as you have mentioned in the small cabin on the older config.

Regarding the bubble on the new config, the first row will be classed as an exit row seat, not an extra legroom seat as it is next to the emergency exit. The exit row seats are more expensive than the extra legroom seats and all pax have to be over 16 and in a reasonable physical condition.

You won't be able to select seats at OLCI, only when you check in at the airport.
