Evening all

Apologies if this is a daft question but I thought that the VS93 was a 747. Not sure where I got that from ?|

Anyway, I notice that last week LGW to CUN was operated by Ladybird. Might VS just use any type of aircraft of any route?

Thanks Rachel,

In a word - No!

Virgin will mix and match their aircraft on some of their routes - often using different ones for different days of the week or times of the year.

If you go to the 'Which aircraft' section of the site - the-toolbox/which-aircraft

Select routes from the drop-down menu, you can see which planes have been used recently on each route.

I've also just worked out that Ladybird is a 747 ..... Just ignore me, I'll go back to sleep! Zzzzzzz

You can quite easily be forgiven because, although it is a 747, it is one of the two re-furbed 747s flying ex-LGW :)
