I am currently waiting for a VX flight to credit, which will take me to 39 TPs. I'm considering a first-ever TP run to get that final point before my next VS flight in October.

Short of a lengthy trip, my only option is BMI, which post-IAG will disappear as an option on 1st September. I have a trip to Manchester next week, and am thinking of travelling to Edinburgh and then flying EDI-MAN in BMI business.

The criteria for mileage earning is a flight with a BD flight number (which is what rules out flying LHR-MAN) that is operated by BMI.

The EDI-MAN flights are operated by BMI regional, which gets me to the reason for my post - does anyone have any experience of whether BMI regional counts as "operated by BMI" for mileage earning purposes? I don't what to travel on that ridiculous route to Manchester only to find the flight does not qualify!
