Had a few e-mails informing me of a timing change. However when I checked on my booking I also notice the aircraft had changed from a 340-600 to a 340-300...... :0

I am rather disappointed. Older aircraft and older IFE. I don't relish a 12hr flight with entertainment on a loop.

I know this could change but as I have yet to fly on the 343 can I have some opinions from those who have flown on one. We are flying upper.

Thanks

There is a 1 in 5 chance you'll get vPort on an A340-300 plane.

One good thing is it has a smaller UC cabin but bar has same number of seats as an A340-600 plane.

Just remember an iPad or something similar!

Bad luck -- but they are both night flights so maybe it won't matter so much?

Looking at a TR for SFO in a 343 dated May '12 the pax were given a Galaxy Tab. I hope that happens on our flight. I just don't think for the length of time spent on the plane the tired suites and IFE are fair value.
