I’m having some strange problems here... by that I mean more than my usual nonsense. :P

I would like to take the family back to Florida for the Easter holidays so fly GLA-MCO out on 30 or 31 March and return 13 or 14 April. That’s the same flights I was on this year.

I can’t find the flights on the main Virgin website – it tells me their 2011 & 2012 operation dates but not 2013
I can find the flights on the Virgin mobile website, but that doesn’t give prices
I tweeted @virginatlantic who say they can see the flights at their end no problem

So I tried the Netflights travel agent and they can’t see the flights, so I went into Barrhead Travel where the gent was obviously too busy getting prices off a computer for somebody more important than me, barely made eye contact with me, basically called me a liar saying Virgin don’t fly until the summer from Glasgow then told me to phone Virgin myself to sort it out. I left the shop feeling incredibly small. :(

Can anybody help before I phone up Virgin and make an ass of myself?

Works fine for me on the VS site (the full site, not the mobile one which is useless).

Not cheap though - £1457 in economy departing GLA on 31/3 and returning from MCO on 13/4 or 14/4.

Can select flights here also. I know it's still 6 or so months away, but you have left it pretty late to be booking Easter 2013 flights, if you want any half decent prices. Your dates, especially being weekend dates, are the main Easter holiday period and the chance of prices going down now are pretty much non existent.

We have booked the week before from MAN (our school holidays are a week earlier than most) and we booked as soon as they were released, we have paid £1200 for PE and £800 for Y and while our flights are now sold out, the prices around have just kept on going up.

Thanks for your replies!
The plot thickens... I can see the flights for 1 adult but not for 2 adults, 2 children and infant on lap. It seems to be the kids that's breaking the system, not sure if the website can't handle it or there's too many kids already booked onto the flight. I've tried for dates in June and it works fine. ?|

Yeah the prices are pretty much what I paid this year! Easter isn't cheap, wish they'd run a jumbo on that flight. I was unable to book it earlier in the year due to the nature of my work but I've just won a big contract that's going to pay for it. But now you mention it, I can get the end of June for £832 (Scottish schools stop earlier for summer). Tempted to go then instead...

Thanks again for your time, wonderful forum. y)

I think it's just that it's full - looks like there are only 3 seats left.

The website is coming up with a price for the 5 of you from Gatwick (£4490) so it's not the system (for once!). And it's not a question of "too many kids" - it'll let you book 3 adults but not 4 so the flights are obviously virtually full.

If you can take advantage of the early Scottish summer holidays I would.
