I did JFK-MCO on Delta (and back DL2058/2159) last month. My first time on an internal US flight and I was kind of speechless by how laid back everyone was with everything. I'm used to a really professional service but it seemed too informal for me. The Delta type of customer service wasnt my type of cake. The person in front of me in the boarding queue was pretty much lambasted for having 3 carry on bags instead of 2 instead of politely asked to do something about it. The announcements were being made up on the fly with "FYI" being used a lot.

However I don't have anything to compare it to (US internal flight-wise) and they did get me there safely and on time.

It's a well served route, lots of options including AA, JetBlue and Delta. Last time I did it, I flew with Delta from LaGuardia and got a really cheap upgrade...though it's a relatively short(ish) flight tbh. JetBlue are great and well worth a look at.

Here's a list, looking at all NYC airports, for service to MCO: http://flightaware.com/live/findflight/ZNY/KMCO/
