Hi

The seatmap for my flight VS085 in March has just become available. I'm trying to assign seats. There are plenty of available seats however when I try to assign seats I get a message saying 'We're sorry, the seat(s) you have chosen are not available. You are still shown in your original seat(s).'

I am definitely selecting red A (available) seats. I've tried selecting a number of different available seats however get the same message. The problem is that I have no original seat, according to the seat map I'm not sitting anywhere at the moment.

Any advice? I notice someone else on the board was having difficulty changing seats however their map at least shows they have a seat somewhere on the plane.

Is this a website glitch?

I'm booked through VH if that make a difference?

I was wondering about that. I am Day 94 and was wondering if seat reservation opened at midnight 90 days before or at exactly 90 days before.

Slight update on this. Hit ninety days and some hours last night and as I was still up at midnight tried to reserve seats but without success getting the same message as the OP.
Logged on this morning and was able to reserve seats about an hour ahead of exactly ninety days.
16a/17a already gone so took 15a/k and then switched to 18a/19a. Don't fancy 12a/k in view of lack of 'own' bin.

Honestly, the lack of bin at 12A/K is not an issue in the slightest, there is plenty of overhead storage space for everyone in the A zone.

Also, with 12, you get the handy little shelf at the front to store things during the flight.
18/19A for me are a bit to close to the galley for my liking, especially on a night flight.

Fair point
Have sat in 12k before and took advantage of that shelf. The forward view (glimpse really) was good.
I bow to your superior knowledge and will change

The main problem is people seeing the booking page saying 90 days etc etc and then trying to assign their seats.
