Apologies in advance if this sounds a dumb question :D , but can anybody tell me where the Grey Goose Loft is located within the Heathrow CH?
I was last at the Heathrow CH on 31/12/11 and certainly didn't see it (I didn't know it existed then tbh) and thought it might have been built recently , but doing a quick search on here brought up posts from Sept 2011 and it existed then.....
Was I being blind? :o)
The VS website used to have a complete layout/plan of the Heathrow CH but this appears to have disappeared?
Am hoping to visit it before my flight to SYD next month ): .

Thanks!

It is in what was the old sky loft - the sort of mezannine on the way to the roof garden.

You take the stairs towards the back of the CH and sort of next to the library.

From what I remember from reports on here it opens at 4.ooPM

The Grey Goose Bar has only been open in the evening when we have been there in the past

It is situated up the stairs in what was the sky loft - an area often kept private for celebs - and only comes into being when Grey Goose have their own mixologist there

Many thanks for the quick replies :D .
I was convinced that I went up there (or at least to the outside observation deck ) last December prior to my Tokyo flight but having had a quick look through my photos now think that my memory is playing tricks and that it was in Jan 2011 prior to my NYC flight that I was last up there.
I think I'll have to have a more thorough wander about this time, the SYD flight is late so the Grey Goose Bar should be open hopefully ): .

I've flown the LHR to SYD route six times so far this year and have spent time up in the Goose-nest each time! So fingers crossed you will be in luck, I usually find its empty except for the 'mixologist'. Its well worth a look...although only for the first few drinks if you want to be able to walk in a straight line to the departure gate! One downside is that the wifi never works for me up there...not sure if others have the same issue.

Enjoy your flight! 22hrs of peace and quiet...18 days until my next jaunt on VS201, cant wait.
