"p" fare question

hi,ive used the amex voucher to upgrade to p/e.
can i use miles to upgrade to upper class if availability?

No, if you have used the AmEx voucher you can't use miles or cash to upgrade to UC.

A normal straight miles P fare (no AmEx voucher) can be upgraded with miles if there is G availability.

It's always worth asking at the airport my son managed to upgrade to a g at the airport last January for 12'000 miles and he had used used Amex voucher to upgrade to p/e
