Hi everybody.

I am flying LGW/MCO later this week for work. I didn't book the flight myself, but it was done through the company that I will be working for.

The ticket type is Class A Economy, however according to the eTicket I have received there seems to be allowance for two pieces of checked in baggage. Can anybody verify if this is correct...?

The following baggage fees may apply for each sector between:

LGW - MCO

First Checked-In bag fee:
FREE

Maximum checked-in bag weight:
UP TO 50 LB/23 KG

Dimensions must not exceed:
(LI is linear inches, LCM is linear centimetres. Linear is the total sum of the length, height, and width of a piece of luggage)
UP TO 81 LI/208 LCM

Second Checked-In bag fee:
FREE

Maximum checked-in bag weight:
UP TO 50 LB/23 KG

Dimensions must not exceed:
(LI is linear inches, LCM is linear centimetres. Linear is the total sum of the length, height, and width of a piece of luggage)

Hello and welcome to v-flyer 8D

That is interesting...... fare class A is not used by VS :?

Economy baggage restrictions are only one piece of checked baggage per customer.. there are a couple of exceptions but not on the route you are travelling. Gold level frequent flyers gain an extra checked in bag, but unless you are one of them, it is only one I am afraid to say..

Is this a corp route deal for the company you work for I wonder ?| If that is the case then the details of checked in baggage, lounge access, check-in points etc.. would have all been negotiated between VS and your company.. best person to ask would be the account admin in this case..

Sorry I couldn't be of more help :#

Cheers for the reply. I will check, I think the company booking the ticket does have some affiliation with Virgin. The ticket price looks to be cheaper than normal too...

I'm not sure if the extra bag will be of much use anyway, but it's worth knowing. I have used the privilege when flying PE in the past.
