Just tried to do online check-in for our VS200 flight tomorrow night to Sydney and the system says we can't complete check-in as we don't have a visa :0 :0 .
Both of us travelling certainly do have the electronic visa so am in a bit of a panic that they won't let us on the plane!
Can we contact anyone now?
Don't want any hassle at Heathrow tomorrow so would much rather sort it out this evening!

Thanks!

Don't panic Nessy, this kinda thing has happened to a friend I have travelled with before... something to do with some computer (hidden in a basement no doubt) not syncing correctly or some other VS BS :P

Give it a couple of hours and try again or... ii) ii) ii)

..unfortunately in the nefarious VS IT systems there has been a hiccup and it thinks that you do not have a visa and therefore are unauthorised to travel n( n( n( The only way I know around this is to prove to VS that you have the required visa.. as there is insufficient time to call them and send a scan of the visa docs off, the best thing to do is arrive at LHR as early as you can to check in for your flight as usual and make sure to show the relevant paperwork to the agent when they ask for it..

Sorry but one of those little hiccups that rears its head on occasion, hope it resolves quickly at LHR and the flight goes smoothly. 8D

Thanks!
I rang up a very helpful person on the AU FC line and I think it might have been caused by an error in the advanced passenger information that was entered as they corrected our nationality from British Subjects to British Citizens, which is why the VS system said we didn't have visas......
I don't know how that occurred :w :w :w .
Anyway, despite them correcting that I appear to be 'locked out' and have to check in personally tomorrow....
Consequently making an early start in the hope that our seats don't get nabbed by someone else.....
