Successfully managed to check in this afternoon after last nights fiasco , but sadly still stuck in PE as the plane is packed full all the way to Sydney......
Had a very nice meal and currently sipping a very nice Bramble.
Service seems a bit patchy, loads of staff in the Brasserie area yet hard to catch their attention v( , but very attentive staff in the Gallery which is our usual haunt :D .
Had a quick look at the still-closed Grey Goose Loft and a bit underwhelmed if I'm being honest....will see if it's any different when it opens ): .

Have a good flight... I'll be there myself tomorrow, anything interesting on the menu (food or wine for that matter)?

If not, I'll just revert to type and load up with meat, cheese and bread from the deli counter...

Thanks, the menu isn't scintillating tbh but had a Toasted Goats Cheese salad (which was delicious) followed by a confit leg of duck served with Puy lentils and savoy cabbage which was equally tasty.
The armagnac and prune creme brulee that I had a spoon of was also very nice although I settled on the chocolate brownie and ice-cream for dessert.....
Afternoon tea beckons so hope there is room for that..... ):

Lol, it was only a small bit of boozy puree at the bottom of the dish, I had a spoonful from my travelling companions portion......I don't think it would have caused any major issues tbh :D .
