Just dropped the troops off at MCO (I've got a few days of peace before travelling home) and noticed the bottom half - right hand side - of security has been changed to http://www.tsa.gov/tsa-pre✓™ TSA pre

The good news is that also in the new plasma displays were other airlines including Virgin Atlantic Upper Class. I would assume it also includes Golds. y)

Will report back after Tuesday but looks interesting.

David

Edit.

Struggling to get link to work but click on http://www.tsa.gov/traveler-information then on the tsa-pre✓™ link on right hand side

Reading about it, it is currently only valid for Domestic travel, not International, so I guess has limited benefits for most VS flyers, who incidentally aren't currently listed on the participating airlines.

i second that, the queues at mco immigration are getting beyond a joke, i travel there quite often and at all different times of the year (last being two weeks ago)
on that occasion it took an hour and a half, and it is always at least 45 minutes on a good day. i have pointed this out to the senior immigration officer the last few trips but seems to be a waste of time. what is the point of having forty odd booth's when only half of them are ever manned ?

i also arrived at gatwick north terminal from spain last thursday and it took over an hour to get through passport control, i also complained to the head immigration officer, filled out an official complaint online as he told me this is the only way to get more staff manning the booth's as they are short staffed, but as i pointed out to him on my way out of gatwick the previous monday there were bus loads of very helpful and efficient personal shoppers on hand eager to help me part company with my hard earned folding cash !

seems like this is another example of the 'profit is god' world we live in nowadays :(!

The right hand side of immigration has both the TSA Pre and a dedicated channel for international first/business class passengers. We travelled through there Thursday last week - only saw one person pass through the TSA Pre channel. The business class channel was fairly busy but only took 10 mins from joining to getting through - much quicker than the other channels.

Yup, as neilc said, it's a dedicated channel for business class fastrack etc its the lane on the left next to the "clear" channel and the steps up to McCoys.

It wasn't particularly fast tonight, taking about 15 mins, but the rest of the queues were pretty busy. Once thought the passport check part there is also a dedicated security lane.

As an aside, I see Orlando now has the full body scanners.

I thought the point of these were to negate the belts, shoes off etc ?| ?|
