Morning

The V Room and Clubhouse at LGW, any idea how much they are to get in? I've only booked flights and not even direct with Virgin this time but I'm intrigued by the idea of using one of the lounges before our flight.

I presume it totally depends on the day if they have space as to whether they'll let you in or not.

Also, do people think its worth it?

Cheers

Hello

The CH and VRoom are only for use if flying with VS.

As a good alternative, try the no.1 lounge.

Forget the V-Room. You can't get in there unless you book with Virgin Holidays.
The LGW Clubhouse does do paid entry on a space available basis, there are lots of threads about this, as the qualification for entry goal posts keep moving. At one time you had to book through VH, then it was for PE passengers only, but now I just think they will take money off any VS passenger willing to pay.

Is it worth it? Only you can answer that. If you intend to get trollied (not recommended) then you can drink your monies worth easily.

Another (cheaper) alternative is the No 1 Lounge - both the LGW and LHR lounges get good reviews on here.

Cheers. Im flying Virgin just booked it through work instead of direct.

I don't intend to get hammered! With an 11 hour flight back 8 hours it'd be unwise to do so! It's just hard to gauge without prior experience, so thanks for the advice. Ill have a look at the other suggestion.
