VERA REEL

Hi all
First time post for me. Just wondering if anyone knows if virgin have any plans to upgrade the four remaining aircraft using REEL to an on demand system?
I flew LHR to NRT end of feb (for the 5th time) returned in early mar (first time to be upgraded to UC too but that's gota be TR I guess) and surprised and perhaps a bit disappointed to see VERA reel.

Hi and welcome.

There are currently no plans to upgrade the IFE in the A343 a/c that have VERA reel.

I think Vera Reel is on 3 aircraft as G-VSUN has the Vera on Demand.

Yes no plan to upgrade them as they are leaving the fleet next year when (if) the dreamliners arrive. For the summer they are operating ACC DXB ORD and YVR

Ah yes you are right G-VSUN appears to be the only plane flying LHR-NRT that has VERA on demand.
Guess it is just luck as to whether or not we will be on Rainbow Lady when we go in December. Fingers crossed.
